The Park Hills Concert Series continues on Friday with the sweet summer sounds of southern rock and country.

The Park Hills Parks & Recreation Department, the Park Hills-Leadington Chamber of Commerce, B104.3, and Leadbelt Pump & Supply are sponsoring a performance by The Outsiders in Columbia Park at 7 p.m. on Friday at the amphitheater in Columbia Park.

According to the concert series organizer, The Outsiders perform a mix of southern rock and country music.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating, along with their favorite drinks and snacks — or, music lovers can buy dinner or a snack from Iron Dogz food truck, which will be on-site during the concert.

Alcohol is strictly prohibited in Columbia Park.

Appropriately enough, Last Dance will perform the final concert of the season, same time, same place, on Aug. 25. Last Dance is a tribute band paying homage to the music of classic rocker Tom Petty.

Summer concerts are hosted by the Park Hills Parks & Recreation Department. All concerts are free to the public.

In case of inclement weather, contact the Parks Department at 573-327-9711, or check the Park Hills Parks & Recreation or City of Park Hills Facebook pages.
