Washington County woman arrested for child molestation

A woman is due in court next week on charges of molesting a 16-year-old boy.
On July 6, a Washington County woman was charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor involving child sex crimes.
Lori Ann Clubb, 42, of Potosi is charged with one count of felony first-degree sodomy, one count of felony child molestation, and one count of misdemeanor third-degree sexual misconduct.

According to a probable cause statement from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, a 16-year-old victim reported Clubb abused him earlier this month and attempted to abuse him at an undisclosed point during 2022.
According to the report, the victim alleges that Clubb awakened him from sleep earlier this month by placing her hand on his genitals underneath his clothing. The victim also reportedly told investigators Clubb propositioned him for the first time in 2022. Investigators say Clubb offered to give the victim narcotics in exchange for sexual intercourse.
Clubb is currently in custody at the Washington County Jail. Bond is set at $100,000 with special conditions. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
