Alma Aldine Woodcock

IRONTON – Alma Aldine Woodcock of Ironton, Missouri, entered into rest with her family by her side on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the age of 89 years, 2 months, and 8 days. She was born June 3, 1934, in Elvins, Missouri, to the late Famous Thomas and Grace (Midget) Johnson.

On May 18, 1952, Alma was united in marriage to the love of her life Donald Edward Woodcock who preceded her in rest on June 16, 2020. To this union six children were born, Donna Jean King of Ironton, Missouri, Sandra Kay Trask and husband Steve of Arcadia, Missouri, Carol Ann Hardy and husband Mike of Ironton, Missouri, Linda Jo Bohannon and fiancé Brett Roberts of Arcadia, Missouri, Lana Sue Durham of Ironton, Missouri, and Matthew Edward Woodcock and wife Nancy of San Antonio, Texas, all of whom survive.

A Visitation for friends to gather will be held 11 a.m., until Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. , Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from the Cole Family Funeral Home in Ironton. Interment will follow the services in the Arcadia Valley Memorial Park in Ironton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Alma’s honor to either the Arcadia Valley Food Pantry or the Signer Senior Center in Arcadia, Missouri.
