Junior Ray Kemp, 68, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was born June 12, 1955, at Zion, Missouri, the son of Earl and Lena (Rauls) Kemp.

Junior was preceded in death by his mother; his brother Lindell Kemp; step-mother Kay Goad-Kemp; and friend Bob Lesher.

Junior is survived by his father Earl Kemp; brothers Danny (Sheila) Kemp and Jerry Kemp sister Nancy (Ed) Seymour; nieces and nephews Dana (David) Lanigan, Tiffany (Keb) Cook, Shane (Shannon) Kemp, Michelle (Doug) Gipson, Chad Kemp, Doug (Tasha) Kemp, and Doug (Michelle) Kemp; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-nephew.

Junior was a member of Twelve Mile Church, and enjoyed painting, turtles, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Twelve Mile Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., August 19, 2023, also at the church.
