FARMINGTON – Glenda Duesterbeck of Farmington passed away peacefully at her residence on August 18, 2023, at the age of 73. She was born at Fort Riley, Kansas, on July 29, 1950, to the late Allen C. and Myra N. Tomlinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fern Duesterbeck and her son, Joseph Allen Aulet and a sister, Brenda Kay Cochran.
Glenda was a giving person and if someone was in need, she gave to them what she could. She was a very caring person. Baking, making crafts and reading the Bible were some of her favorite pastimes. Glenda was active in the church she attended until her health made it difficult for her to attend.
She leaves behind a daughter, Cheri Ward; two grandchildren, Dominic Ward and Anna Lappe; a sister, Patty Atter; two brothers, Donald Tomlinson and Robert A. Tomlinson. She also leaves behind Brandon Mitchell and Chelsea Since who she considered as her grandchildren because of the love they had for her and how they were there for her at any given time. She is also survived by a nephew, Gary Carlise and niece, Nancy Carlise.
Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 21, 2023, beginning at 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 4 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Donald Tomlinson officiating. View the tribute video and share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
