Janet Marie (Mouser) Counts

BONNE TERRE – Janet Marie Counts, age 81, of Bonne Terre, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus. Janet was born on Monday, June 8, 1942, in Bonne Terre to the late Leon and Dorothy (Sumpter) Mouser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Rosener.

Janet was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre. She enjoyed listening to country music especially Elvis and Conway Twitty. Janet was most proud of her grandsons Levi and Lucas and loved spending time with her family and her grand-dog Tiffany.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Counts; beloved children, Jeff Rosener, Cindy Spray and husband David; grandsons, Levi and Lucas Spray along with several cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 5 p.m. Until 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10a.m. with Father John Schneider officiating.
