This year’s breakfast was held at the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown on Thursday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m.
“We’ve been hosting this for several years as a way to welcome the district employees into retirement and introduce them to our organization,” current MCRSP President David Stevens said .
Twenty-four MCRSP members and six new retirees enjoyed homemade pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, an assortment of fresh fruit, coffee, and juice, all donated and prepared by MCRSP members.
Following the delicious meal, MCRSP Treasurer Christy Johnson hosted several rounds of Bingo, which provided much fun and candy prizes for the winners.
The next regularly scheduled MCRSP meeting will be at the Black River Electric Cooperative Meeting Room on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. All retired school personnel from Madison County are cordially invited to attend.
