Betty Jean Salisbury Hooper
DE SOTO – Betty Jean Salisbury Hooper of Bonne Terre, previously Terre du Lac, died August 19, 2023, at Southbrook Nursing Home in Farmington, Missouri.
She will be fondly remembered as the “Dog Lady” of K9 Corner.
Betty is survived by her husband, Ruel Dean Hooper of Bonne Terre, her daughter, Susan Pijut (Tony) of Arnold, Missouri. Four grandchildren, Erin Salisbury of St. Louis, Savannah Province, Ryan and Tyler Jones of Columbia Missouri; and one great grandchild, Noah Province of Columbia, Missouri. two step-daughters, Deana Hooper of Delaware, Ohio, and Christine Brandon of Frinia, Illinois.
