Doris Jean Kennedy

Doris Jean Kennedy, 70, died Thursday, August 31, 2023, in Warsaw, Missouri. She was born October 12, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of James R. King and Lois Jean (Coomer) King.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jane King.

Doris is survived by her husband Steven Kennedy, whom she married May 9, 1971; son Steven Kennedy Jr. (Brian Collins); brother Jim King of Fredericktown; grandchildren Daccota (Brent) Lenny of St. Louis and Emerson Kennedy of St. Louis; and great granddaughter Della Lenny of St. Louis.

Doris enjoyed family and friends, cooking and just being with people.

Doris did factory work and drove a truck with her husband, retiring in 2018. 

Funeral services were Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Follis & Sons Chapel.
