Tennis Cats split two matches

The Fredericktown High School tennis team split a pair of 5-4 matches, last week.

August 29, the Cats lost 5-4 at Potosi.

In singles, Dani West won 8-6; Clara Basden won 8-0, Becca Bell won 8-5, and Ella Clauser won 8-2.

August 30, the Cats came out on the winning end of a 5-4 match.

Basden (8-4), Bell (8-4), and Nina Lewis (8-0) each won their singles matches. In doubles, Emiley Geen and Basden won, 8-0; and Lewis and Haley Tucker won, 8-4.

The Cats play at Saxony Lutheran today (Sept. 5) and then they play in the Sikeston Invitational Thursday.
