Doris Fay Maples

PARK HILLS – Doris Fay Maples, 83, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, passed away September 8, 2023, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre, Missouri. She was born January 10, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Boyer and Myrtle ‘Moyers’ Stanfill; her husband, Oscar Ernest Maples; and a sister, Marilyn Boyd.

Doris is survived by her children, Dennis Paul Farmer and fiance’ Chris Hutchings, Tamera Farmer and Ernie Myers, Susan Farmer and Timothy Edwards, Kenneth Farmer and wife Deborah, Ernest Maples, and Penny Huff and husband Tim; grandchildren, Christopher Myers and wife Sarah, Jamey Farmer, Toby Farmer and wife Jessica, Levi Robertson, Levi Bailey, Holli Whaley and husband Matthew, and Alex Huff; nine great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, William Boyd. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Visitation will be 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills, Missouri. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Buck officiating. Burial at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
