A two separate car accidents, Sept. 7

The passenger in this 2007 Lincoln Town Car was injured in a collision, Sept. 7 in Cherokee Pass and transported by Air Evac to St. Louis University Hospital.

Two separate vehicle accidents, Sept. 7, totaled two vehicles and injured four individuals.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 10:17 a.m., Sept. 7, Amber N. Teater, 22, of Fredericktown was driving a 2007 Lincoln Town Car east onto Highway 67 at Cherokee Pass, when she pulled into the path of a 1995 West Star Dump Truck being driven north by Zebulon J. Sanders, 44 of Fredericktown.

The reports states Teater received moderate injuries and was flown from the scene by Air Evac to St. Louis University Hospital.

The report lists the damage to the Lincoln as “total” and the Dump Truck as “extensive.”

Both drivers were reported to be wearing their safety devices.

The MSHP reports the damage to this 1995 West Star Dump Truck was “extensive,” following a Sept. 7 collision.

The patrol reported a separate, unrelated, crash at 7:40 p.m., Sept. 7, on Hwy 72, six miles west of Fredericktown. According to the report, a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Don J. Whited II, 26, of Fredericktown, was traveling west when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment, went airborne, and struck the ground.

The report lists two juvenile passengers, ages 2 and 4, as having minor injuries. Both were listed as wearing safety devices.

Whited was listed as not wearing a safety device at the time of the incident and received minor injuries.

The patrol reports all three were transported from the scene by EMS to Parkland Hospital. Damage to the truck was reported as “total.”
