Last spring the Fredericktown Greenhouse Class completed the Floriculture Unit with a few hands-on assignments that added to the true meaning of experiential learning of an Agriculture Education Program.

The class learned about the floriculture industry, principles and elements of design, and how to market arrangements. Two of the arrangement assignments included the centerpieces for the 2023 FHS Senior Dinner held at Pinecrest Camp and the bridesmaids’ bouquets for Zak and Abbey Kellers wedding.

As the students were designing the bouquets they learned many techniques and how for a variety of arrangements and bouquets different tools and materials have to be used to complete the arrangement.

The students did a wonderful job on the Bridesmaids bouquets and centerpieces while learning a lot in the process.
