Lilbourn Dennis “Tiny” Settle

Lilbourn Dennis “Tiny” Settle, 84, died Monday, September 4, 2023 in Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus, Missouri. He was born June 14, 1939 in Marquand, the son of Floyd E. and Ruby J. (Henson) Settle.

Lilbourn was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Cletus Settle and Dale L. Settle.

He is survived by his wife Irene D. (Pratte) Settle whom he married June 16, 1961 in Esther, Missouri; daughter Deborah Joy Settle of Fredericktown; brothers Larry (Sue) Settle of Fredericktown, Gary (Sue) Settle of Arnold, Missouri, Keith (Sharon) Settle of Fredericktown and Terry (Toni) Settle of Longview, Texas; and sisters Sandra Hicks of Fredericktown and Theresa (Michael) Barnett of St. Louis.

Lilbourn was a member of Second Baptist Church.

He enjoyed auctions, craft shows, his dogs Speedy Bump, Zippy, Petey, the boys and cats Gray-Gray and Stormy.

Funeral services were Thursday, September 7, 2023 Follis & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Andrew Jefferson and the Rev. Raymond Michael officiating. Interment was in Settle Cemetery.
