Soccer Cats get first victory

The Fredericktown High School soccer team earned its first victory of 2023, Monday, at St. Paul.
The Cats defeated the Giants, 6-2. Freshman Brigg Hale got the victory in goal for the Cats.

Fredericktown opened the season with a 3-1 home loss to Saxony Lutheran, Sept. 5. Reid Simmons scored first to give the Cats a 1-0 lead. Saxony then held the Cats scoreless while scoring two goals to win the match.
