Thelma Jo (Myers) Sitzes, 89, died Monday, September 11, 2023. She was born April 1, 1934, in Buckhorn, Missouri, the daughter of Roscoe and Grace Myers.

Thelma Jo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband J.F. Sitzes, whom she married March 20, 1954, in Buckhorn; and brothers Bill Myers and Aubrey Myers.

Thelma Jo is survived by son Deryll (Kathy) Sitzes; daughter Debbie (Mike) Howard; four grandsons; and ten great-grandchildren.

Thelma Jo was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, collecting things, her birds, and she really enjoyed her years in Destin, Florida.
