Cathy Melby hosts Opening Day for Eta Eta
Provided by Shirley Baxter
August 31, members of ETA ETA Circle of Sisters met at the home of President Cathy Melby.
Mrs. Melby served taco salad for dinner and concluded with a delicious carrot cake and grape salad for dessert.
During the meeting, meeting times, social events and new committees were announced.
The meeting concluded with members sharing summer vacations and memories. Suk Cooper shared that she had passed her examination for citizenship and is now a United States Citizen. We are all very proud of Suk and happy for her.
Our first meeting will be Sept. 14 at the home of Eve Yaekel. We are looking forward to a productive year and helping Madison County seniors with their heating bills.
