Cross country teams run at MAC

FHS cross country runners, from left, Breanna Bone, Laila Stephens, and Larkin Strong, each medalled in the Bismarck Invitational, Saturday, at Mineral Area College.

The Fredericktown High School cross country teams went to Mineral Area College to race in the Bismarck Invitational September 16. 

In the varsity race, freshmen Laila Stephens and Brianna Bone finished 4th and 6th, respectively, with Larkin Strong also racing into the top 30. All three won medals. Junior Maddison Phares crossed next for the girls team. On the boys side, senior Braden Braswell and Ethan Vance competed.

In the middle school race, Elyse Laut finished in the top 25 for a medal. She was followed by teammates Eve Brown and Adelyn Knobeloch. Wesley Jones, Westin Roberts, Caedus Presson and Caleb Henry ran on the boys side.

The High School team will travel to Columbia for the Gans Creek Invitational on Saturday.
