Get ready for the Madison County Fair

The Madison County Fair is back Friday, Oct. 6, through Sunday, Oct. 8, at the Wanda Priest Park/Azalea Park in Fredericktown.

Friday, October 6th: A Sweet Start to the Weekend

Kickstart your weekend with the Fall Pumpkin Dessert Contest and the Pumpkin Carving/Decoration Contest. Bring your creative pumpkin designs and indulge in delicious pumpkin treats. Don’t forget to try your luck in the Fall Basket & Bottle Calf Raffle. The evening will be filled with live music by the talented Scottie Kemp from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Azalea Park Pavilion.

Saturday, October 7th: A Day Packed with Activities

Saturday promises a day of activities for all ages. From the Kiddy Tractor Pull and Super Farmer contests to the Coin Scramble and Animals R Us Petting Zoo, there’s something for everyone. Cheer for your favorite at the Greased Pig event and take a leisurely ride on the Covered Wagon. Enjoy pony rides and marvel at Party Crasher’s balloon creations. Witness the crowning of Mr. and Miss Madison County, and get revved up with the Foot Hill Car Cruise In. Show your musical skills at GT Karaoke or sing-along to Bobby Spain’s music. For the animal lovers, the Livestock Show is a must-see.

The Truck & Tractor Pull has been relocated to Rotary Park on Buford Avenue. There will be no admission but donations for the new track will be accepted. Concessions and a beer tent will be available. 

Sunday, October 8th: A Day for Horse Lovers and Halloween Fun *located at Madison County Saddle Club*

Sunday’s highlights include a thrilling Horse Show, featuring a performance by Trick Rider Carley Klima and her horse “Seraph.” The Halloween Costume contest will award the best dressed horse. This event is hosted by the Madison County Saddle Club at 1331 Madison 203 in Fredericktown.
