October Women’s Connection to feature ‘Jewelry Fashion Trends’

This month’s Women’s Connection Brunch will occur from 9:15-11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Farmington Presbyterian Church fellowship hall at the junction of Columbia and Cayce streets.

Lori Boruff, of Monmouth, Illinois — a national speaker and author of “Hope in the Ruins — A Rescue and Recovery Guide for Hearts in Crisis,” as well as a newly released 30-day devotional titled, “We Get You,” will be the special feature and guest speaker.

Boruff will showcase fashion jewelry by Paparazzi in a program focusing on next year’s jewelry trends just in time for holiday shopping. She will also share dressing tips to impress or add sparkle to one’s day.

In her interactive message, “Stranger Danger: Be Aware. Be Prepared,” she will offer advice and techniques to feel safer in today’s world while dining out or walking through a parking lot.
