FHS JROTC Raider team continues fall season

The Raider Team traveled to Leavenworth, Kansas on September 18th.  Out of 31 teams they brought home a 2nd place trophy in the Fired Up event and a 5th place trophy in the Cross Country Rescue.  Team events consisted of the 5 Kilometer Run, Physical Team Test, Fired Up, Obstacle Course, One Rope Bridge, Psycho, Cross Country Rescue, and Unconquered.  Individual event was the Ultimate Raider.  The Blackcats placed 8th overall out of the 31 teams.

September 30th the team traveled to Ozark, Missouri where they competed against all the Nationally ranked teams in the male division.  Team events consisted of the 5K Cross Country Run, Physical Team Test, Gauntlet, One Rope Bridge, and Cross Country Rescue.  Individual event was the Ultimate Raider.  They did not bring home any trophies, but they finished 7th overall out of 16 teams in their division.

Team members are Dawson Cook, Nathanel Tash, Christopher Hudson, Luke Robbins, Dakota Moyers, Jayden West, Leif Olson, Brandon Guzman, Devon Conn, Toniah Magill, Autumn Bess, Matthew Rehkop, Parker Terry, Sophia McRee, Jadyn Yount, Matthew Henry, Skyler Sandman.

Their next competition will be Oct. 21, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After Fort Leonard Wood, the team will travel to Fort Knox, Kentucky Nov. 2-5 to compete in Raider Nationals.
