Soccer Cats eliminated in district tourney opener

The Fredericktown High School soccer team, seeded seventh in the Class 2, District 1 Tournament, lost to the No. 2 seed and tournament host Afton, 8-0, Monday.

The Cougars play No. 6 seed Saxony Lutheran in a semifinal match, today (Nov. 1).
