Kenneth Charles Moran

FARMINGTON – Kenneth “Kenny” Charles Moran, 63, of Farmington passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on Tuesday, December 29, 1959, in Bonne Terre to Alvin “Chub” and Lola Bea (Hurst) Moran. Preceding him in death was his father, Chub Moran and his father-in-law, Dale Bess.

Kenny was the owner and operator of Moran Concrete Construction for 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, however, his favorite past-time was spending it with the family on the farm. Kenny loved the Lord; he was a faithful member of The Bridge Community Church.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Diane (Bess) Moran; three daughters, Sarah Thebeau and husband Randy, Katherine Murphy and husband Lucas, and Amelia Moran; six grandchildren, Noah (Murphy) Stegeman, Jacob Murphy, Zeb Murphy, Seth Murphy, Tessa Thebeau, and Trenton Thebeau; mother, Lola Bea (Hurst) Moran; brother, Mark (Diane) Moran; mother-in-law, Jane Bess; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume at The Bridge Community Church on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 9 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ben Durbin officiating.
