Terry Montgomery, 68 of Bonne Terre, died Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus. He was born December 1, 1955, in Fredericktown, to Stanford Thomas “Lightning” and Mildred Geraldine (LaGrand) Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Kevin Montgomery and brother-in-law Keith Gibbs.
Terry is survived by his wife Teresa (Johnson) Montgomery; children Anita Montgomery, Thomas Montgomery and wife Natalie, Jeffrey Montgomery and wife Amy, Kelley Magadan and husband Julian; stepdaughter Kyra Stegall and husband Charlie; grandchildren Emma, Elizabeth, Avery, Cooper, Arabelle, Isabella, Sofia, Adaline, Mary, Amelia, Liam, Ryker and a thirteenth on the way; and sister Judy Gibbs.
Terry retired from his occupation in Telecommunications Management, to enjoy fishing, camping, building computers, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation was at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, January 4, 2024, The visitation resumed Friday, January 5, 2024, at 9 AM until the time of service at 11 AM. Interment followed at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
