Linda Lee Mungle, 76, died Sunday, February 4, 2024, at her home in Fredericktown. She was born January 24, 1948, in Ironton, Missouri to Thomas Leo and Sarah Belle (White) Tinnin.
On May 18, 1968, she married the love of her life, Larry Everett Mungle in Fredericktown, where their daughters were born and raised.
In addition to her loving husband of 55 years, Mrs. Mungle is survived by their three daughters and sons-in-law Tammy and Terry Helm of Fredericktown, Carla and Rocky Petty also of Fredericktown and Paula and Andrew Tarry of Scott City, Missouri; grandchildren Terra and Tyler Helm, T.J. and Larah Petty and Colin and Owen Tarry; numerous nieces and nephews; brother Benny Tinnin of Fredericktown; and numerous brothers & sisters-in-law and cousins who she deeply loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law Everett and Leona Mungle and brothers-in-law Jerry Mungle, John Mungle and Kenneth Mungle.
Linda was a homemaker, who also helped run the family farm. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda had a love for nature and all animals. She enjoyed collecting beautiful rocks, watching her hummingbirds, and going to yard sales. She was of the presbyterian faith and saw the beauty in the little things and good in everyone she met.
Visitation was Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Michael officiating.
Interment will be at Snowdenville Cemetery near Fredericktown.
