The City of Farmington recently released information regarding its annual Spring Cleanup Week. City crews will begin at 7:30 a.m. each day.
– WARD ONE: Pickup Monday, April 1
– WARD TWO: Pickup Tuesday, April 2
– WARD THREE: Pickup Wednesday, April 3
– WARD FOUR: Pickup Thursday, April 4
The following items will not be picked up by city crews during cleanup week: tires, liquids or hazardous materials, leaves, limbs, brush, lumber, shingles, siding, construction waste products, anything requiring more than two people to handle, and items that trash services ordinarily take such as trash bags, cardboard boxes, and items in garbage cans.
Appliances must have compressors removed.
If city crews are unable to complete a ward in a single day, they will finish the following day. There will be no callbacks if anyone fails to have their items at the curb on their scheduled day.
Tires may be taken to the Street Department at 210 Industrial Drive on Friday, April 5, for a fee of $4 per tire, whether mounted on a wheel or not. Passenger car and light pickup truck tires will be accepted.
