May 11, the local Masonic Lodge, Marcus #110, celebrated its 175th anniversary.
Brethren from the local lodge and brethren from around the area, along with the officers of the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of the state of Missouri, including our Grand Master Charles F. Wiegert, came together to rededicate our lodge.
As we were all gathered, we also dedicated a stone at the new Fredericktown City Fire Department.
Marcus Lodge has been a part of the Fredericktown community since May 16 of 1849, making us one of the oldest institutions in Fredericktown.
I think I speak for all our members when I say that I am proud to be a member of the organization that has been here so long and hope to continue to “make good men better” in Fredericktown.
