A 48-year-old, female pedestrian from Farmington, was struck and killed early Monday morning in St. Francois County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at 1:50 a.m., a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado, driven by a 19-year-old male from Bismarck, was traveling on Mo. 32, .25 miles east of Flat River Rd. when the front of his vehicle struck the pedestrian.
The female from Farmington was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m., by St. Francois County coroner Jason Coplin. The driver was not injured and was wearing a safety device.
The Chevrolet Colorado was towed from the scene by Buckley Towing.
A two-vehicle accident in Jefferson County involved a Park Hills adult, Thursday, November 14.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, at 6:53 a.m., a 2019 Ford Escape, driven by a 23-year-old, adult male from Park Hills, struck the rear end of a 2017 Toyota Sebring driven by a 41-year-old female from DeSoto. The accident occurred on southbound US 67 just south of Buck Creek Rd.
Occupants of the Toyota, including 3 juveniles and one female adult from DeSoto and the driver of the struck vehicle, were transported by private conveyance to Mercy Hospital -Jefferson. They suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Ford Escape was not injured. All involved were wearing safety devices.
Both vehicles sustained moderate damage but were driven from the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports an accident on November 12 resulted in extensive damage to the involved vehicles.
At 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, a 2013 Dodge Dart, driven by an adult male, 52, from Mineral Point, was stopped in the westbound lane of Mo. 8 at Springtown Rd., waiting to turn left, when it was struck from behind by a 2015 Buick Enclave, driven by a 16-year-old male juvenile from Park Hills.
The driver of the Dodge Dart received moderate injuries and was transported to Washington County Memorial Hospital by Washington County EMS. The driver of the Buick was not injured. Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
The involved vehicles both sustained extensive damage. The Dodge Dart was towed from the scene by Elliott’s Towing Service and the Buick was transported by Buckley Towing.
Two Farmington women were involved in a two-vehicle accident in Jefferson County, Tuesday, November 12.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at 8 a.m., on November 12, a 2017 Ford Fusion, driven by an adult female, 21, from Farmington was stopped in traffic on northbound US 67, just south of Route CC when she was struck from behind by a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by a 21-year-old female from Farmington.
The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by the Plattin-Jefferson Ambulance Service. The other driver was not injured. Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
Both vehicles received moderate damage. The Chevrolet Cruze was towed from the scene by Buckley Towing. The Ford Fusion was driven from the scene.
A two-vehicle accident on US 67 south of Canterberry Drive on November 11 resulted in injuries to an occupant of the struck vehicle.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports at 6:25 a.m., November 11, a 2017 Ford Focus, driven by a 21-year-old female, from Fredericktown struck the left rear of a 2010 Jeep Patriot causing the Jeep to travel off the west side of the roadway before overturning.
A 24-year-old female occupant in the Jeep suffered minor injuries and was transported to Parkland Health Center in Farmington by St. Francois County ambulance. No other injuries were reported. All involved were wearing safety devices.
The Jeep Patriot was totaled and the Ford Focus sustained extensive damage. Both were towed from the scene by D&D Towing.
