Road work will begin on Sept. 22

The asphalt shoulder pavement of the MO72 and US 67 interchange will begin this month on Sept. 22, according to MoDOT Construction Engineer Seth Bollinger.

Despite the sign reading “9/18,” the asphalt work is slated to begin four days later, on a Monday, Bollinger said.

According to Bollinger, “The shouldering and asphalt paving will begin west of the interchange,” all the way until when MO 72 meets MO 21 in Ironton. “The asphalt shoulders will start roughly around Sept. 22 weather permitted on the Fredericktown end going to Farmington. There will not be work with the roundabout with this project.”
