Madison County may vote for Soil & Water board members Feb. 1 – 20

Election for Madison County Soil & Water Conservation District board members will be held Feb. 1-20th

Voters in Madison county may download a ballot or pick one up from the Madison County SWCD office at 1092 City Lake Road Fredericktown, Mo 63645. Hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A land representative is defined as the owner or representative authorized by power of attorney of any farm lying within an area proposed to be established, and subsequently established, as a soil and water conservation district under Chapter 278, RSMo. Each farm is entitled to representation by a land representative: provided, however that the land representative is a taxpayer of the county within which the soil and water district is located.

Ballots may also be mailed to 1092 City Lake Road, Fredericktown, Mo. 63645 by February 20 or through mail by February 23rd if postmarked.
