OPEN INVITATION TO COMMERCIAL PLAYGROUND CONSULTANTS, MANUFACTURERS AND SUPPLIERS The City of Farmington is seeking proposals from qualified commercial playground equipment suppliers and manufacturers for an all-inclusive playground system to replace an existing playground structure located in Engler Park in Farmington, Missouri. Proposals will include all playground equipment, fall surface, and construction management services to oversee city work forces and volunteer skilled labor to complete installation. The successful proposal will incorporate a broad scope of all-inclusive design principals usable by persons of all ages and physical or developmental capabilities, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation. The City of Farmington hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry or national origin in consideration for an award.
