Madison County WiC announCes neW WiC inCoMe Guidelines and ProGraM uPdates The Madison County Health Department would like to announce the new Missouri WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) income guidelines and information on WIC. The new income guidelines are effective starting April 1, 2021. WIC is a nutrition and referral program for pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to 5 years old. If you qualify for Medicaid or met the income guidelines, you qualify for a food package each month. We also provide Breastfeeding classes, information, and support to new mothers. Did you know that your benefits are on a eWIC card now, no more checks and folders! Easier checkout and easier shopping. There is also an app called WIC Shopper that gives you your food account balance, next appointment, and much more. Please call the Madison County Health Department at 573-783-2747 option 4 to make an appointment or for any questions. We are located at 105 Armory St. Fredericktown and our hours vary but usually Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm. You can also sign up for WIC online at wic/index.php and click Online Interest Form in the yellow box.
