Compared to two weeks ago, steers sold 4.00-12.00 and heifers sold steady to 7.00
higher. Slaughter cows sold 3.00 lower and bulls sold 1.00 lower; Demand good and
supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 11 percent of the run, 89 percent
feeders. Steers made up approximately 41 percent of the offering, 49 percent heifers with
10 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 23 percent.
