Promotions, additions at New Era Bank

Mike Burcham, President of New Era Bank has recently announced the promotion of two New Era Bank employees,  Paul Hale Jr. and Janszen Ringo.

Paul Hale Jr. was promoted  to Vice-President. Hale began his career with the bank in 1999. Hale is a lifelong resident of Fredericktown. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He currently serves as the bank’s compliance officer and security officer, as well as overseeing the bank’s information technology (IT) department. Hale currently attends the Barrett School of Banking and also serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Missouri Extension Council for Madison County and is also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife, Jennifer, and two children attend St. Michael’s Catholic Church and reside in Fredericktown.

Janszen Ringo was also promoted to Vice President.  Ringo who came to New Era Bank in March of 2009 is a native of Ironton and now resides in Farmington with his wife Sarah and daughter Joli. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a BS in Business Administration and Finance. Ringo has over six years of banking experience, primarily in commercial lending. He serves on the board of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce Board along with the Downtown Development Association. In addition to responsibilities as a commercial loan officer, Janszen plays a major role in credit administration, business development and marketing for the bank.

Stephen Green, Chairman and CEO of New Era Bank also announced the addition of Tony Myers to New Era Bank’s Board of Director. Myers is the corporate senior director of Organizational Development for Centene Corporation in Clayton. He is a graduate of Fredericktown High School and the University of Missouri. Myers has been employed in the Human Resource field for more than 20 years, having worked with several manufacturing firms in the area. Tony has been active in several civic and community organizations including the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, the MAC Foundation, the United Way, the Farmington Industrial Development Authority and Friends of Scouting. Myers, a native of Fredericktown, moved to Farmington in 1992 and currently resides there with his wife, De De.

In addition, New Era Bank has added three new Farmington Advisory Board Members, Larry Pratte, Bret Burgess and Janszen Ringo.

Larry Pratte, Owner/President of Midwest Embroidery Supplies in Farmington is a graduate of  Potosi High School and Mineral Area College. He also graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1986 with a BS in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance.  Prior to owning Midwest Embroidery, Pratte passed the CPA exam in 1986 and began working in a variety of accounting roles with various corporations including Huffy Bicycle, Cap America, Iron Mountain Forge and Price Waterhouse.  Pratte also serves as Vice-President for the Farmington Industrial Development Authority.  Pratte and his wife Lisa currently reside in Farmington and have two children.

Bret  Burgess is a graduate of the Farmington High School and Mineral Area College. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and obtained a Master’s in Business from Webster University. He is married to Alycia “Bordewick” Burgess and together they have two children. Bret has followed in the footsteps of his late father William “Joe” Burgess as a real estate developer and business owner. Bret is the developer and owner of Butterfield Gardens, Butterfield Village and Applewood Senior Apartments. Bret currently serves as CEO of Farmington Home Builder’s and is the District 1 Commissioner for St. Francois County.

New Era Bank is a subsidiary of New Era Bancorporation, a 280 million dollar bank holding company headquartered in Fredericktown. New Era Bank has five banking locations in Fredericktown, Farmington and Park Hills.
