Full-Time Deputy Court Clerk – City of Desloge The City of Desloge (a 4th class city) is seeking applicants for a full-time Deputy Court Clerk. This position is an administrative clerical position, under the supervision of the Municipal Judge, Mayor, and City Administrator and the immediate supervision of the Court Administrator. General responsibilities include, but not limited to: preparing, processing and record keeping of the Municipal Court; preparing dockets, summons, subpoenas, warrants, probation orders, commitment orders, and license suspension letters; collect all fines and court costs; prepare daily bank deposits; monthly financial statement and bond summary; certifies court records and corresponds with attorneys about their cases; posting disposition information; additional functions of the Municipal Court as deemed necessary by the Judge or supervisors. This is a customer service position that requires assisting citizens at the counter, answering phone calls, and assisting other City employees and departments. Qualifications: high school diploma or GED; some related training or experience is preferred; ability to multi-task; communicate well with others; organized; ability to navigate computer software; possess adequate clerical skills; keeping composure is necessary when working with the public. Plus for the candidates who have knowledge of Show Me Courts; possess an Associate’s Degree in Court Administration or in a closely related field; or possess State certification. The pay range will be $11.00- $13.00 per hour (based on experience), plus benefits.
