PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
On this 7th day of August, 2019, NOTICE is hereby given of a PUBLIC HEARING to be held on August
27, 2019, at 10:00 a. m., in the matter of setting the County Tax Levy for St. Francois County for the
year 2019. The rate after the required roll back due to the Reassessment Program is made, is then to be
lowered due to the amount of sales tax collected in the first six (6) months of 2019 in accordance with
Senate Bill #399-1979. The aggregate assessed valuation of which the Tax Levy is to be set is as follows
for the years 2018 and 2019.

of the Missouri Constitution and Missouri Statue 137.073.

ROAD & BRIDGE ....................................................... $0.2439 per $100 valuation
SENIOR SERVICES................................................... $0.0482 per $100 valuation
The proposed tax rate to be set for 2019, after full compliance with the roll back due to Sales Tax
collected in the first six (6) months of 2019, and in accordance with Senate Bill #339-1979, and with
voluntary roll backs are as follows:
COUNTY TAX ............................................................. $0.0527 per $100 valuation
ROAD & BRIDGE ....................................................... $0.2439 per $100 valuation
SENIOR SERVICES................................................... $0.0494 per $100 valuation
Said PUBLIC HEARING is to be held in the County Commission Office on the third floor of the St.
Francois County Annex Building, located in Farmington, Missouri. NOTICE is hereby approved this 7th
day of August 2019 by the St. Francois County Commission.
