Fundraisers, capital improvements, student recognition on West County agenda

LEADWOOD — The West County R-4 Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, in the board meeting room located at 1124 Main St., Leadwood.

The board has released the tentative agenda for its meeting and it is as follows:

Call to order, recognition of visitors, approval of minutes from the Oct. 20 regular meeting, payment of bills and adoption of the agenda.

Recognition of middle and high school students.

Staff reports: Administrator’s Report, Technology Report, Title I Report, 21st Century/ASAP Report and Superintendent’s Report/MSBA Report.

Committee Report.

New Business: Set filing dates for April 2012 board election and consideration of qualifications for substitute applicants.

Old Business: Fundraisers and capital improvements.

Recommended Executive Session: RSMo. 610.021 section 3 & 13, hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting an employee, personnel records and performance ratings; RSMo. 510.021 section 1, legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a public government entity; and RSMo. 610.021 section 14, records which are protected from disclosure by law.

Adjournment.

Board of education meetings are open to the public.
