Memory of Lcp Trevor Richardet

The House of Representatives recently honored the memory of Marine Lance Corporal Trevor Richardet. State Representative Rick Francis presents Trevor's parents Chad Richardet and Amy Hager, stepfather Mark Hager, grandparents Roger and Debbie Richardet, and brothers Nathan, Cole, Emmett and Blake with a resolution to honor Trevor's memory.

The House of Representatives recently honored the memory of one of our state’s finest. Someone who was a true hero, Marine Lance Corporal Trevor Richardet.

Trevor served with honor and distinction in the United States Marine Corps. His selfless service to our nation gave him fulfillment and made his family and friends extremely proud.

Sadly, in September 2018, he tragically lost his life in an accident while he was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He was just 19 years old.

No family should have to suffer the loss of a child. I know his parents, his brothers, his grandparents, and all the members of his family continue to grieve.

It was my great honor to present the parents, Chad Richardet and Amy Hager – Stepfather, Mark Hager – Grandparents, Roger and Debbie Richardet – and brothers, Nathan, Cole, Emmett and Blake a resolution I had prepared to honor the memory of Trevor.

It was also my privilege to be able to present them with United States flags that I had flown over our state capitol building on Veteran’s Day.

We will forever be grateful for his service.
