May 5, 2019, the Madison County Commission met . Attending the meeting was Presiding Commissioner Jason Green, First District Commissioner Tom Stephens and Second District Commissioner Larry Kemp. County Clerk Don Firebaugh recorded the minutes. After the Pledge of Allegiance, Presiding Commissioner Green called the meeting to order. The following business was transacted:
ROAD AND BRIDGE
Road and Bridge Supervisor Gregg Pruett said the department is repairing roads, cutting downed trees and cleaning bridges.
Sheriff Katy McCutcheon and E-911 Director said the department is having trouble with the concealed carry permit printer.
All three Commissioners checked the condition of roads and bridges in Madison County last week.
Commissioner Green submitted the required paperwork to the State Emergency Management Agency Recovery manager to reauthorize payments or DR 4317; (Flood of 2017).
Accounts payable were presented for approval and payment. Commissioner Stephens made a motion to approve paying the accounts. Commissioner Kemp seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Additions to Personal Property in April 2019 for years 2016, 2017, and 2018 were approved in the amount of $165,855.
No further business was transacted May 6. Commissioner Green adjourned the meeting at 10:12 a.m.
