Isaac Cecil “Spike” King, 95, died April 10, 2019 at Cape Girardeau. He was born March 7, 1924 at Faro, Missouri the son of N.L. and Lottie (Young) King.

Spike was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Libby; wife Kathryn Hale King whom he married April 5, 1952 at Fredericktown; sister Maple Bollinger; and brothers Charles Pete King and Elva King.

Spike is survived by nieces and nephews Linda Settle, Paul Bollinger Jr., Ellen Dees, Bob King, Brenda Laut, Karen Bollinger, Ronnie King and Lonnie King.

Spike was a member of Fredericktown United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and enjoyed gardening.

Funeral services were Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Follis & Sons Chapel. Memorials can be made to Fredericktown United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
