Sally Beatrice Gore, 90 of Fredericktown, died Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at her home. She was born on March 1, 1929 in Reynolds County, Missouri, a daughter of William Arthur and Lou Cindie (Price) Martin.
On February 14, 1945 Sally married Carl Johnson, who preceded her in death in 1957. On October 12, 1963 in Piedmont, she married Winfred “Floyd” Gore, who preceded her in death on June 21, 2014. Her parents; daughter Anita Sansoucie; grandson, Brad Brinkley; six brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Gore is survived by daughters Janet (Del) Brinkley of Fredericktown, Norma (Robert) Brinkley of Piedmont, Ocleta (Ray) Darden of Fredericktown, Cathy Brinkley of Fenton, Missouri, Sandy Knopfel of Arnold, Missouri and Wendy (Mark) Rowden of Farmington; brother Leonard (Judy) Martin of Piedmont; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Sally retired after 19 years with Baldor Electric in Valley Park, Missouri. She enjoyed being outdoors, doing yard work and gardening, reading her bible and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She had been a member of Living Waters Church in Farmington.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown with Pastor Rick Proffer and Pastor Randy Sawyer officiating. Interment was at the Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown.
