During the month of November, Casey’s General Store is hosting its annual ‘Dog Tag’ promotion to raise funds and awareness for Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family and hope for veterans, service members and military families.
For the seventh year, patrons of the more than 2,000 Casey’s General Stores, across 16 states, are invited to support Hope For The Warriors by purchasing a dog tag for $1. Casey’s General Stores will display the dog tags throughout the store, providing customers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment and support for service members.
Casey’s Vice President of Marketing, Mike Richardson, commented: “We’ve seen great support from our customers for Hope For The Warriors in the past, and we’re proud to run this campaign again in 2018. It’s a fitting way for us to say thank you to our service members, especially this close to Veterans Day.”
To date, Casey’s General Stores has raised nearly $4 million benefiting Hope For The Warriors’ programs that focus on clinical health and wellness, sports and recreation and transition services.
“It’s heartwarming to once again work with Casey’s General Stores in supporting veterans, service members and military families across the Midwest and beyond,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of Hope For The Warriors. “You can truly see the generosity and patriotism of Casey’s staff and its customers as you see each store fill with paper dog tags during this campaign.”
