Teachers, administrators and school board members gathered May 2 in the Farmington High School Field House for the annual Teacher of the Year Luncheon.

Following the luncheon, a presentation was held in which a teacher from each of the eight schools in the district were presented.

The District Teacher of the Year award for 2019 was presented to Farmington Middle School instructor Eric Johnson.

"Teacher of the Year" awards were presented to educators at each of the district's eight schools. They are Heather Weiss, Truman Learning Center; Jackie Watson, Jefferson Elementary School; Mary Scott, Washington-Franklin School; Rhonda Klug, Roosevelt Elementary School; Cathy O'Sullivan, Lincoln Intermediate School; Eric Johnson, Farmington Middle School; Ryan Wadlow, Farmington High School; and Larry Peterson, W.L. Johns School.
