Precision Eye Care’s annual community tennis tournament winners weren’t just the players on the courts. The Farmington (FHS) and North County (NCHS) high schools’ tennis programs were also winners when Dr. John Fitz presented each coach with a $535 check on July 6.

For two seasons the same group of Farmington Middle School girls have had a basketball team with a record that any NBA team would be envious of.

PARK HILLS – It is now eight Central Christmas Tournament titles for the Farmington boys basketball team after it took down top seeded Hillsboro 49-45 on Dec. 30.
With only one season under its belt, the Farmington High School girls’ varsity swim team is looking forward to a successful sophomore season.
Preparing for the second season of competition, the Farmington High School boys’ varsity swim team is back in the pool and ready to make a splash.
The Farmington High School Varsity football team suffered an emotional one point loss in overtime to Cape Central High School on Sept. 2 in the team’s home opener.

CAPE GIRARDEAU – The Farmington Knights brought home the SEMO Conference Championship Trophy on Jan. 23 after a grueling two days of wrestling matches between the 12 conference schools.
When people see Mitchell Summers now, they see a young confident runner who has racked up several first place finishes as a middle school runner. But only two years ago, the story was a lot different.
