November 27, 2017 the Madison County Commission met. In attendance were Presiding Commissioner Robert "Bob" Mooney, First District Commissioner Tom Stephens and Second District Commissioner Larry Kemp. County Clerk Don Firebaugh recorded the proceedings.
ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT
Road and Bridge supervisor Gregg Pruett said the department is hauling rock to the banks of the damaged roads in the FEMA program.
Commissioner Stephens and Commissioner Kemp checked on the condition of several county roads and bridges last week.
Commissioner Stephens attended the Fredericktown City Council meeting last week.
Presiding Commissioner Mooney and Commissioner Kemp attended the Missouri Association of Counties meeting at Lake Ozark. They attended several meetings including discussion of Legal Reform and Courthouse Restoration. They were also briefed by MoDOT concerning their long term plans for state roads and bridges.
While there Presiding Commissioner Mooney attended the County Commissioner’s Board meeting.
Accounts payable were presented for approval. Commissioner Stephens made a motion to approve paying the accounts as presented. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Kemp. The motion carried.
No further business was transacted on Nov. 27, 2017. Commissioner Mooney adjourned the meeting at 11 a.m.
