The Farmington History Museum is holding a trivia night fundraiser to help raise money for the renovations of the future home of the museum.
The trivia night is scheduled for 6 p.m. on May 18 at Memorial United Methodist Church in Farmington. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for students for teams of eight to 10 people.
Jessie Williams is president of the museum committee and said the event features a “potpourri” of questions for the event, along with serving as a learning experience as well for those attending.
Williams said the museum committee is preparing to move permanent exhibits into one half of the genealogy room at the Farmington Public Library.
The building located at the corner of North A and West College Streets – named to be a permanent home for a museum – will need renovation work in order to make the facility ADA-compliant.
In the meantime, the committee is planning to hold fundraisers to help with those expenses.
