Beth Marie Weinkein and Christopher Dewayne Stroup were united in marriage Dec. 28, 2013, at Perryville United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Pam Ekey officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mark and Sandy Weinkein of Perryville.
The groom is the son of Steve and Kathy Stroup of Marquand.
Serving as maid of honor was Brandy Weinkein. Bridesmaids were Jessica Pierce, Melissa Clinger, Katie Stephens, Nikki Edgar, Stacey Weinkein, Jamie Lipe, Cindy Buchheit, and Amanda Belcher.
Serving as best man was Larry Boyer Jr. Groomsmen were John Barnett, Brad Cook, Ryan Stephens, Ken Stroup, Joey Boyer, Eric Ganime, Justin Gross, and Alex Cook.
The miniature bride was Jocelyn Brauns. The flower girls were Maddison Stephens, Ava Weinkein, and LeeAnn Weinkein.
The program attendant was Tori Snider. The guest book attendants were Sheila Brown and Cheryl Curtis.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Gayla Brinkley and David Neislein.
The rehearsal dinner was held at the American Legion in Perryville.
The reception and dance party were also held at the American Legion in Perryville, with music provided by DJ Dustin Welker. An evening full of fine dining and drinks were enjoyed by all in attendance.
The bride is employed at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center as the Director of Dietary Services, and the groom is employed at West County Middle School as a teacher and basketball coach.
After a New Year's honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the newlyweds have made their home in Farmington.
