The family and staff of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Homes are hosting an appreciation dinner for the area’s first responders on April 30 at Elizabeth Hall in Leadington.
Funeral Director Brad Dush said the dinner is “just to say thank you for all that they do and all the ways they serve us.”
The dinner will be served at Elizabeth Hall, which is located at 210 E. Woodlawn Dr. near Better Bodies fitness center, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All first responders in St. Francois County, including police, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters and emergency medical services responders, along with their immediate family members, are welcome to attend.
Pork steaks, fried fish, beans, fries, coleslaw and drinks will be served free of charge to all first responders and their families.

Everyone who plans to attend is asked to R.S.V.P. so there will be plenty of food available. Send an email to czboyerfuneralhome@att.net or call one of their locations in Bonne Terre, Desloge or Park Hills to let them know you'll be attending.
