    Thursday, Central High School bid farewell to its Class of 2023 on a pleasant spring evening as students, families, and faculty gathered on the football field. A total of 107 graduates donned their caps and gowns, marking the important milestone in their educational journey.

      West County Elementary students converged on the elementary school baseball diamond earlier this month to compete in Olympic-type events specifically designed by age group. It's part of a school tradition that's lasted about half a century.

      The familiar notes of “Pomp and Circumstance” will air over the North County High School’s Raider Field — unless inclement weather drives it to the Farmington Community Civic Center — with seating beginning on Tuesday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m. and graduation ceremonies starting at 8 p.m.

      Three-hundred-and-three seniors will receive their diplomas at Farmington High School’s 2023 Commencement being held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Farmington Civic Center gymnasium at 2 Black Knight Drive.

      Though he will humbly dismiss the title of “legend,” Dan Schunks has influenced countless students and colleagues and instilled a love for music in so many. He retires at the conclusion of May 18's Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy spring Kicks Band and Community Jazz Band concert.
