A local man has not been heard from for a week, and his family and police are asking for help from the community.
Zachary Skinner, 20, of Farmington was last seen about 3 p.m. on Oct. 14 when he was dropped off at his job in the Farmington Industrial Park.
According to Lt. Jeff Crites of the Farmington Police Department, the family reports receiving a text from Skinner around 7:30 p.m. that evening.
“After that, they have not heard from him since,” Crites said. “We are trying to locate him to determine he is OK.”
The detective said Skinner, who has black hair and green eyes, is believed to be in a silver/green 2005 Ford Escape. The vehicle has two stickers for Southeast Missouri State University on the rear window.
Crites said they did speak to an acquaintance in the St. Clair, Missouri area who indicated they spoke to Skinner shortly after he was last seen. The acquaintance said Skinner was driving the vehicle and indicated he would be returning home to leave his vehicle with his family.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Farmington Police Department at 573-756-6686.
